These meetings were useful in making potential connections with great, inspired off-campus organizations. I learned a lot and met many good folks!" It was helpful hearing the perspective from folks teaching the same content from different field perspectives. One breakout paired me with a biologist who teaches ecosystems and includes climate change in that course." |
The Community of Practice has inspired me on so many levels, especially in gaining a 'relative perspective' in the presentations on energy projects and in the participant chat rooms, which has been fantastic. The breakout discussion sessions helped me understand that nearly everyone is on the same page with similar questions and needs. Themes around workforce development and building capacity within the college systems to address these questions has been a common thread and has been on my mind as a potential project for moving forward." |
