Climate Corps Fellows are an integral component to the success of the Energize Colleges program. These ambitious Fellows join a cohort of emerging professionals to drive environmental change within their communities. Full-time Climate Corps Energize Colleges Fellows lead climate and energy internship and education projects at their higher-education institution, while developing energy career pathways. Climate Corps Fellows provide cost-effective staffing to support your sustainability projects. We help recruit Fellows, serve as the employer of record, scope your project, train your Fellow, and provide access to our extensive network. If you're interested in hosting a Fellow, please fill out the Climate Corps interest form or send us a message.

Climate Corps Energize Colleges Fellows

Campus Fellows are responsible for:
  • Developing a fellowship scope
  • Attending training events and meetings
  • Assisting with identification of internship placements and leading the recruitment and placement of student interns
  • Leading the on-boarding, training, scope development, and tracking of student interns
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to student interns (and internship hosts) related to energy career pathways
  • Developing partnerships with local high schools and ensure that all student interns meet targets for high school engagement
  • Supporting instructional planning and direct instruction
  • Facilitating, analyzing, and documenting pre- and post- surveys and tests and program evaluations
  • Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
