Green Careers

Participating Energize Colleges campuses provide substantive work experience to students who are studying and considering energy career pathways, while also significantly reducing energy use through intern-led projects on campus and out in the community.

Intern on roof with solar panels
My passion is renewable energy and sustainability, making this opportunity with Energize Colleges the perfect fit. Over the quarter I have been working as a solar installation intern at GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles. I participated in all aspects of setting up photovoltaic modules on a household roof! . . . I'm grateful to have had this opportunity and it definitely makes me want to continue to pursue a career in renewable energy!
